INSTALLATION WHEN DONE:
Blue Loctite (not red) + hand tighten onto threaded barrel

The "Comet Brake" is designed to be a slim, flush fit and aggressive rifle brake that works especially well to reduce felt recoil. This 4 pack of brakes is 1/2 finished for a gunsmith to complete the last steps depending on which rifle and caliber they will use it on.

Gunsmith Specifications

  • Outer Diameter tapered to .800 the biggest lever-action OEM barrel (can be tapered down for all other smaller barrel OD's)
  • Bore size is .328 for a .30-30 Win cartridge (can be bored out for larger cartridges)
  • Bore size where threads will be cut is .465 to accommodate 1/2x28 tpi (can be bored out for different tpi)
